Moved here from US, and I have seen a fair share of bad customer service.  But I must say that Virgin Media's home installation technical appointment now top them all.   Here is a short summary, I have had 3 appointments now (over a span of 1 month), every single time, the appointment was cancelled that same day, but no one bother to contact me about it.  When I call or check the appointment time, it is bumped to 1 or 2 weeks later.  Called the support to complain, 2 offshore support promised to fix the world, nothing happened.  1 local support called back, but the end result is the same, nothing happen.  the only reason that I picked VM is because everyone else in this apartment seems to use them, and they have the best advertised speed.  (now I am wondering shall I trust that either).   Community out there, is this service level from VM a normal experience for you all?   I am in [REMOVED] area, any one know a comparable broad band solution that is reliable and offer good speed (anything > 500mb) can recommend to me?   VM mgt, if you ever care, check out case E-363080, E-386116, E-362024, E-397076

here is an update, the 'experience' just keep getting better.  

tech finally showed up the following Monday after this complaint even without a formal appointment, so perhaps someone did follow up a bit.   But the modem stayed up for about 1 day before it is down.  Had to stay with tech support for 2 days to figure out this modem is broken, then another 2 days just to convinced the next support it is really broken, so the tech support said a replace will be sent.  That is last Friday.   Call Monday, another support said it is on the way.  Now Wed, called again, and another support said the modem was never ordered, and he now orders a rush service.  Whatever that meant.  All the complained logged so far, basically got closed as soon as I called.  Somehow it is my problem to resolve my complaint.
