UHD Add-On for Sky Sports/Cinema + Flex Query on Biggest Combo

Hi all 👋

I’m thinking of signing up for the Biggest Combo and noticed it comes with Sky Sports and Sky Cinema HD included. I’d really like to have them in UHD, but during the sign-up process there’s no clear mention of being able to upgrade to UHD. Does anyone know if that’s something you can add once you’re signed up, or if it needs to be selected upfront?

Also, just wanted to double check something — in the basket it shows that everything’s under Flex rather than 360, which is exactly what I’m after. Just hoping someone can confirm that this is accurate and I’ll be set up with Flex TV if I proceed.

Appreciate any help or insights before I potentially switch back to Virgin at the end of my Sky contract in December  😊

Thanks

VM uses “Flex” to refer to its streaming-only TV service as well as its rolling 30-day Flex add-on to broadband. So you are getting the streaming service and not the add-on to broadband. You'll be getting, though, the same Stream box as those who get Flex.

You can always add the UHD channels after sign-up by logging into your Virgin Media account, can't remember if you can also do so from the box's on-screen menu.

  • Hi issueepic,

Thank you for your post. If the deal you wish to take out doesn't include you an add an UHD after your services have been installed.

There would be additonal costs for that service though.
