TNT sport price query

Hi

I just added TNT sports which showed as only £5 extra per month (£18 a month with a £13 discount) but now added, the email confirmation says it is £16.20 per month?

Has anyone else had this happen? I don't fancy paying that much for it.

Thanks,

  • Hi all,

Thanks for making us aware of this issue which we’ve been working to fix.

During a recent Champions League football match, we promoted an offer for TNT Sports at £5 a month for Stream customers. Unfortunately, we have identified an issue where customers were incorrectly overcharged for their TNT Sports subscription through Stream.

We’ll be sending a text message out shortly to inform all affected customers, and any credits will be applied to ensure all is corrected and customers do not need to take any further action.

We’re sorry that this has occurred, and we appreciate your patience on this matter.

  • I actually cannot believe this saga is still ongoing.

i raised a complaint and was given a goodwill credit and reduction on my bill last month which they did after the bill was generated, so apparently it was done at the ‘back end’ and the direct debit came out for the notified lower amount.

this months bill has just been generated and it’s nearly £50 more than it should be including a late payment fee.

Bearing in mind I added TNT Sports for only 30 days as the deal was not honoured and it has since gone off.

Why the hell is my bill £50 more than it should be.

This is beyond shocking. I am so angry now.

Hey stevemorgan, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about this.

From checking since you've posted we can see you've been in touch with the team, did they manage to help at all?

Apparently they have sorted it and I was told it would come up as a credit on my account (which only £11.50 has) and the direct debit would be amended again, but by the same logic as last month I will no doubt get another late payment fee.
I will be honest, I don't hold out much hope that it is resolved as it also looks like my £4 discount on stream entertainment which should have another 7 months to run is not on my latest bill now.
I will never add another things to stream after this complete farce.

  • Yet another problem with this stupid situation.

Because I had a late payment fee on my account, due to only the direct debit being changed and not the actual account it has now affected my credit score dramatically.

I will 100% be leaving Virgin as soon as my contract is up.

something so small has caused no end of grief - even after a complaint.

    Beyond useless.

Hi stevemorgan, we're sorry to hear you feel this way and that you intend to leave us.

Given what you've advised, we'd suggest sending an e-mail to creditfileamendments@virginmedia.co.uk.

In the e-mail, you'll need to include your full name, account number, contact number, account address, the company that you use to view your credit file, and any specific details related to the credit file enquiry.

      Regards,
      Daniel

        Thanks Daniel
I have done that, unfortunately the bounce back email says they will get back to me within 21 day.
Very annoying as I was considering applying for car finance this weekend.
So this complete mess over a £5 deal that you guys complete mucked up is making me look bad for longer.
Annoyed would be an understatement to say the least.

  • Just another update into this complete and utter farce, despite assurances following complaints and ‘help’ from the forum team due to them only amending the direct debit rather than the actual balance on account YET AGAIN my credit rating has been dropped for the second time although it was cleared last time, I am sick to the back teeth dealing with such incompetence.

roll on January and I can just part ways.

Something so simple has turned into a 4/5 month headache.

    never again
