I think virgin media should at least give there customers a choice of a tv box rather than just push there stream boxes on to customers as you can’t record on stream boxes I don’t know about anyone else but on some of the channels the speech goes out of zinc
On which channels does the speech go out of sync.
Certainly as far as Sky is concerned, Stream boxes are now 75%+ of their new business. The same is likely to be true of Virgin. The Stream box is also the only box that will work on the next generation fibre networks now being installed/upgraded, hence anyone upgrading to 2Gb speeds (which will only be offered on the new network) can take their existing box over from the copper coax network without any disruption.
V360 recording boxes & Stream boxes have the same interface, & share the same firmware platform. Sync issues are not exclusive to IP delivery, they also affect the broadcast technology recording boxes.
