In most cases you have to connect via the TV. So, Stream to TV's HDMI 1 and TV's ARC/eARC port to soundbar.

If your TV lacks  the options mentioned above,
Amazon have HDMI audio extractors, some with S/PDIF output.

Thanks for your post, and welcome to our community.

With this being a 3rd party product, we're not that clued up on Majority soundbars.

Have you checked the support here

Are you able to connect this to the actual TV instead?

You could have mentioned a projection earlier. It's old and so doesn't have the ports for a clean solution, so this is the only way I think it will work by using an HDMI splitter.

        1. Stream box → HDMI splitter.
          • Choose a powered splitter that supports HDCP 2.2, 4K, and audio passthrough. Set Stream to output resolution of 1080p.
        2. Splitter output 1 → Projector (HDMI in).
          • Video goes to the projector.
        3. Splitter output 2 → Soundbar (HDMI ARC in).
          • Audio goes directly to the soundbar in digital quality.
        4. Soundbar → Subwoofer (subwoofer output).
          • Connect subwoofer for bass.
