I’m experiencing the same problem on Hitachi Tv. Every time I try to access itvx.
I’ve gone as far as completely resetting my tv to factory settings and starting as a new tv but exactly the same error/warning message. Only when accessing itvx! Can watch on my iPad without the error occurring! Error as seen in attached photo.Assistance to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

If the error was occuring on your VM Stream box due to a VM fault it would show the error message, 'the server could not prove that it is content.dtv.virginmedia.com' as shown in the screenshot below. Why not try playing it from your VM set top box instead of the Hitachi TV?
Have you tried updating the app on your Hitachi TV?

Sorry you're having some issues with the apps on your TV, have you tried playing this through the Virgin set top box as newapollo has suggested?
Is your TV connected to the hub via Ethernet or WiFi?
