Poor streaming- unwatchable purchase

I purchased a movie on streaming. I am in Canada so cannot download the app, so the only option is to stream. The streaming is so slow and poor the movie is completely unwatchable. I have tried from a few internet sources over two days, same results.

It was an expensive purchase and I would like a refund.

    Sorry to hear the purchase you made was unwatchable and for any inconvenience this may have caused. For our understanding do you mean you made the purchase on Virgin Media Store? If so, please see here, as any downloads need to be made whilst still in the UK. Also, to get any refunds related to Virgin Media Store, you'd need to call on 0800 027 0801. If it's not Virgin Media Store related, please do get back to us.

      Thanks for your response. I’m in Canada and not a customer, just bought it through Virgin media as that’s what came up when I searched the streaming purchase options online. The number you provided doesn’t work where I’m from. The cost was 17.00 CA, which isn’t cheap, and it’s unwatchable.

        Was it definitely Virgin Media UK you bought the film from? Virgin Media services are only available in the UK/Ireland and shouldn't be accessible overseas.

        I see there is a similar Virgin service in Canada offering internet/TV/streaming etc, was it that perhaps? https://www.virginplus.ca/
