Not necessarily a fault, but support for HDCP 2.2 is mandatory - so what's the make and model? And it's best to use an Ethernet cable for the Stream box.
Here's some general guidelines. Connect the source (the Stream box in this case) to the AVR's input port (often labelled “CBL/SAT” or “STB”), do not use any dedicated ARC or eARC port which is for passing video to a soundbar. Connect the AVR’s HDMI output to the TV's HDMI 1 input. In all cases use High Speed HDMI cables of up to 5m in length. Now consult the AVR's manual to set the Pass-Through mode, often called "HDMI Pass-Through", "Active Pass-Through" or "Direct" so that no video processing is done.
If it still doesn't work the HDMI handshake may have failed (common with UHD sources) so unplug everything, wait for 30 seconds and power-cycle devices in this order: TV → AVR → box.
