When are Virgin going to release some kind of statement about the email and account issues?

I find it disgusting that there has been no official word or statement from VM about a timescale for resolving this mess. Its clear from this forum that thousands are affected. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has remained loyal with VM over the years largely due to the linked email accounts which we are now unable to access. Reading this forum over the past few days has opened my eyes about the company and its very clear the email service is not one that they prioritise so  as soon as this mess is sorted and I have access to my emails I'll be swiftly changing over all my associated accounts away from the virgin email address and will then have no remaining tie to the company when my contract is due for renewal. I'm so frustrated by the lack of acknowledgement of a widespread issue and timescale to resolve.

    You're right to move your email to another provider. The problems with VM email have increased unreasonably in recent years, and I'm sure VM will be glad to have fewer complaints as the number of accounts drops off.

    I also will be doing the same as Elliebluey and leaving Virgin Media as soon as this mess has been sorted out. I have not been able to access my mail with my old blueyonder address since Sunday. Each day I have been in touch with the helpline only to be told it will take 24hrs to resolve. I have also tried following the Link sent to my gmail account with no success even with the help of VM staff. I have been with this company for over 25 years but a change is now long overdue.
