Virgin webmail inbox is VERY zoomed in/hack?

I have two issues. Please help.

The most immediate one is my inbox, accessed via webmail on Safari, is suddenly gigantic - nothing I did consciously. Been this way since yesterday afternoon. Can't find anything anywhere in settings, or googling, or on this help site, to zoom it back down to normal. Please advise!

Plus someone/something has been using my email address to sign up to spam, Wordpress sites and porn, I have a lot of emails in spam that I haven't opened or clicked on, was trying to figure out how to resolve that but now... my inbox screen is huge and I really can't do anything.

If it can't be resolved here, how best to contact Virgin?

Many thanks

You should be able to adjust the zoom level via the View settings in Safari

  • Tried that. Failed. Tried it again. Failed. Tried it again. Worked! Thanks. I just can't fathom what caused the random zooming or whether it's related to the semi-hack. Re: the mis-use of my email address to sign up to dozens of random sites, is that resolvable here or do I have to call Virgin? Thanks for your time. GA.

      Hi patheticluddite

      Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your concerns with the webmail screen size. Glad to hear that you've gotten this resolved by changing the settings within the browser.

If you believe someone has access to your email, we recommend changing your password to one never used before to ensure that any access from other devices is removed. You'll need to make changes to the password on any devices that you use a mail app to access your Virgin Media emails. You can reset your email through your online account. Keep us posted if you've any further questions or concerns.

A browser's zoom level is controlled by either:

      • pressing:
        • Ctrl to zoom out
        • Ctrl to zoom in
        • Ctrl0 (digit zero) to restore default zoom level
      • Ctrl + Scroll Wheel rotation of pointer device to zoom In / Out

Maybe inadvertent use of above options led to issue seen rather than “hacking” activity
