Virgin Media Email (blueyonder)

It seems that what is happening is they are changing the key domain from virginmedia.com to virginmedia02.co.uk   - I can see that this seems to be causing some issues.

The actual virginmedia website now take you to the .co.uk one, and if you select EMAIL from the top right, it just takes you to a page where you can read about email settings etc, rather than log you in.

On my SAFARI browser, it actually says there is a problem with the security certificate and that the site is compromised.

I spent an hour on the phone to them - they seems tobe making out that you're the only one with this problem and that you'll just have to wait and see when its working again.

Need my email so bad. I only ever stayed with Virgin over the many many years because I had a blueyonder email address connected to so many things but after this I think its definitely time to go.

Thoughts?

Of course it's "definitely time to go.".

This rag bag of different email domains, created under different contractual arrangements, has been a constant frustration for both Virginmedia and its customers. The number of active users has steadily decreased since new issues were stopped.

It's obviously easier for many users to stick with the regular problems than move all their contacts to a more reliable email service. But the present situation does look untenable.
