Virgin Email used for X

Hi,

I know this is a long shot but I really need help from Virgin Media who I have been a loyal customer since the start.  My problem is I used a Virgin email address for my Artist Twitter account back in 2014 and didn't realise it until it was deleted a couple of months ago. Now because that email address was deleted I cannot regain access to my Artist Twitter account because X (Twitter) will now only let me back into my account if I receive a code to the now deleted Virgin Media email address.

I have tried several time to recover the X account through X support but they wont help and refuse to deal with me in any other way except using that deleted Virgin Media email address.

Please, is there any way I can recover that Virgin Media email address or get it reinstated?. I am willing to pay.

If your mailbox was deleted months ago it will very likely be long gone.

VM has been less than helpful in granting temporary access to deleted mailboxes, even when they are only recently deleted.

What happens if you send an email to the mailbox in question? Do you get a bounce-back message of 'undeliverable' or does the message appear to to through?

Its deleted because I deleted it, and its my fault for not checking all of my social media accounts didn't use the Virgin Media email.  Most SC accounts had already been changed but my twitter artist account from 2014 had not.

        Hi BBR,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're having issues with recovering your X account. Once an email is deleted, we're not able to recover it I'm afraid as it's removed and deleted from the system.

We know this won't be the news you were hoping for, and wish you well with trying to recover the account with X.

        Many thanks,
