Temporary SMC Policy violation.

A client is having major issues sending emails to me. It has been working fine for years and now it is not. Neither of us has change anything and it's becoming a real problem. I don't know why this has happened but I need it removed from the server and it say i need to speak to an administrator to get this done.

Can someone please help rectify this as soon as possible and let me know why this has happen.

Many thanks

Martin

Just a thought, but your clients really deserve something better than VM email, which they do not support for business use and faces an uncertain future.

  • You also effectively disclosed your VM email address in your last post.

  • Hi Martin281 👋.

Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with sending emails, have you asked the receiving party that there are no restrictions or new security measures that have been put in place that will reject those emails as well as the content of the emails are not regarded as spam.

    Please let us know.

      Hi Sabrina

I am having issues receiving emails from them not me sending them. The issue was with one account and is now on another email account of mine. All of these emails have been sent from the same person who i communicate with regularly. I need you (virginmedia) to check from your end that no restrictions or security measures have been put in place to reject them on my accounts. I have changed nothing my end. I have also set up emails outside of virginmedia and just sending a test text email to my virgin email accounts some of them come through immediately others can take ages

        Hi Martin281

Can we ask, are the emails they're sending you, do they have links attached at all?

Also, what error messages do they get?
