Sent emails go into the Spam box

Within the last couple of months, an increasing number of people (more than a dozen) to whom I send emails have been reporting that my emails now go into their Spam box.  This is people who have previously received lots of emails from me normally.

Could there be something going on at my end - sending emails - that causes them to be treated as spam?  What can I do to fix this?

    We're sorry to hear your email is being processed as spam. Is your email ending blueyonder and being marked by gmail by any chance? If so, this is something we've been investigating however as it stands, it doesn't appear to be an issue on Virgin Media's end. We are still investigating things though however there is no further update as of yet.
