Have you setup your email with the required 3rd party email address for access via "My VM" and webmail. Also the associated four word app password for access via mail clients?

The link goes to the virtual chat assistant?
all of a sudden on Friday night my emails on my iPad won’t load tells me my log in details or password is incorrect so I sign into the Virginmedia webpage go to manage email etc and yesterday it was trying to download something but it wouldn’t download and now it’s telling me to change my clog on email to a job vm email which I’ve done it then directs me to my email to approve it but there is no email in my vm email to approve at all and nothing goes to the alternate email and now the only way I can access my vm emails is on the webpage! What’s going on theirs extra security and then there is this utter ridiculous state of affairs of people completely unable to access emails

As a side issue, when you archived your emails was this in folders in your account on the VM server, or on your own offline storage?
I ask because VM do not keep backups of any emails. If emails are deleted for any reason they cannot be recovered, as many users have discovered to their cost. Emails and their attached data should always be copied safely at home.
