Ntlworld email account

Hi I am not with virgin media currently but have an ntlworld email address I want to permanently delete. I was expecting this to happen after 90 days of closing my virgin account  but it's still active and receiving spam emails. I haveI called on several occasions and was recently told.it would be deleted by 9th Feb 2025 but it's still active. How can I get it deleted please?

    Yes! and I'm trying to delete my nylworld email account. I'm no longer with Virgin and I've requested many times. It's well over 90 days and the email account.is still active. I can log into my virgin account still but can't find a way to delete this email address. Can anyone help please?

    We're sorry to hear your old email address is still active. This is something we can certainly check for you but in order to do that I'll need to confirm some information with you to pass security.
