Locked out of Email AGAIN

 

For the third time this year - and the second time this month, Virgin Media have locked me out of my email. I am again being directed to a page saying "Forbidden" and with the option to translate from Luxembourgish. I've again tried to reset my password to no apparent effect. 

Now, I will say one thing only in VM's defence. Their broadband connectivity is very good and generally reliable.

Their email service, on the other hand, is atrocious and seemingly maintained by people who do not give a damn. Their customer service team based in Sunderland are a disgrace - they tell you that a problem is fixed, only for it to recur a couple of weeks later. They are not up to the job. 

The silver lining to this is that gradually moving off VM for my email is going to make it easier to change ISPs in future. 

I will never recommend Virgin Media to anyone. Their customer service is appalling.

  • Yeah I'm locked out of my emails too.

    Ive closed my Virgin account 8 Jan as it is not available at my new address

    Got 90 days to empty my email account except I can't get even into it - it says it doesn't exist - that my email and/or password is wrong but since it is saved and has worked for months, it's not wrong. So its blocked before I can even empty the emails I need to keep - hospital appointments etc which are VITAL

    Its just a big joke that isn't funny, its frustrating and annoying

    I'm waiting for a NHS appointment to SAVE MY SIGHT so nothing major or time-critical there.....

    On top of waiting 6 weeks for a package to return my equipment after having left Virgin Media. And 36 phone calls, emails and messages to sort it now I'm locked out of my email account so cant chase up returning equipment -FOR WHICH WILL COST ME £40

    I've taken a look at our side and I can see you've spoke to the team since this, did they manage to help at all?
