Locked out of account

If one changes ISP and leaves virginmedia, can one still get access to one's ...@virgin.net email posts?

    Email access should continue for 90 days after closing the VM broadband account.

    You may need to use an email app or client such as Thunderbird to access the emails.

    As Graham has correctly advised, if your services are disconnected, the mailbox will remain active for 90 days but then will be removed thereafter.
