Importing Blueyonder emails in to gmail

As VM customer I used to be able to pick up my blueyonder emails in my gmail account on my android phone, until April when couldn't access my VM email account on my laptop. Went though the process of a new user name with third party email (which I used my gmail account details) and password generator. This did recover my blueyonder emails on my laptop, but my gmail no longer picks my blueyonder emails on phone. Went in to the settings of the gmail account, kept on saying wrong password etc. Tried new login details for the blueyonder email, which is gmail user name, after many weeks of trying, I gave up and deleted and tried to add it again, now it says can't to server. Could someone please help me, firstly by giving me the server and port settings etc for blueyonder emails, then help with the username.

Burtiebag  When adding the blueyonder account to a third party email client such as gmail you need to continue using the blueyonder.co.uk email address as the username together with the generated app password.  The new username you set is only used when logging into the My VM account and VM webmail.

@Graham_A  Hi Graham, I changed the App generated password to my own password (to login in the laptop to get my blueyonder emails) and don't think I kept a record of the App generated password. Have you also got Server/Port settings for blueyonder?

They are in the link that jpeg posted here a couple of days ago but here's that link again

Go to the section "How to check your Virgin Media emails using an app" That lists the POP3 and SMTP port settings. However, if I remember correctly Gmail defaults to the correct Virgin Media server and port settings anyway. They are the same for all the VM domains including Blueyonder.co.uk

Two essential things to note in those settings:

        They clearly say:

        1. "Username: your full Virgin Media email address" - (so your VM email address NOT the non VM email address you use when signing into the VM website.)
        2. "Password: your Virgin Media email app password"  -  (so the mail app password generated from your My Virgin Media account NOT the password you use to sign into the VM website.)  If you don't know or cannot remember the Mail app password you will need to generate a new one.

Unless you get those two right the Gmail import will inevitably fail.
