dazza65 What has happened that leads you to believe that your email account has been hacked? There are a number of legitimate reasons why your VM email account may be unavailable which do not involve hacking.
What error message do you get when trying to log in to your VM webmail account using this link: https://mail.virginmedia.com/
Do you still have a Virgin Media broadband account and is the problem email address properly linked to it?

Found out that my Currys account was hacked and they purchased some items online.
I had a email on virgin stating this but after a few minutes i couldnt get onto it.
Unfortunatley the forgotton password option is useless in this case!
The hacker has also frozen me out of Currys now so im on the phone first thing tommorrow.

I understand that this is a distressing incident but please answer the two questions I posted earlier as this will help the VM Forum Staff to help you in the morning.

So no joy!
Wife couldnt remember her memorable event and the last bill to the penny so didnt want to know!
Any ideas on what i can do now?

So after many phone calls to VM and helpful advise from a team member we have got three letters with our memorable word on as a reminder.
We phoned again and still failed on the memorable word questions! What is going on with VM? Seriously thinking of leaving after 15 years.

So I’m thinking as our email account was hacked VM froze it?

Hi Matt
Until lunch time today we still hadn’t got back our account. I decided to cancel the whole account and spoke to VM around 1.20pm and was put through to someone in tech who saved the day! Managed to get things back on track so very relieved. Just frustrated that it’s taken 14 days. I probably should have threatened to leave after 24 hours so get things moving.
