Existing customer email - what’s happening with it
I know Virgin Media has stopped giving new customers email addresses and that they now have to use 3rd party email instead and that existing customers cannot add any more secondary email addresses to their accounts, but can anyone tell me what is going to happen to all the existing customer email accounts next.
I’ve seen entries on here saying existing accounts might be decommissioned and old online articles saying that Virgin Media was / is going to move all existing email accounts to a 3rd party provider like pretty much all the other ISP’s already have done, but nothing from Virgin themselves - so does anyone know what is going to happen and when - I hope it’s the 3rd party option.
I know whatever happens won’t be quick but one can hope as it would be really good to know if we’ll be able to keep our email addresses even when leaving VM as that is the only reason we haven’t left yet.
