Emails are down AGAIN
So it's gone down AGAIN.
But this time it's gone down,and NOT a problem with receiving emails.
I can't even access email full stop,although I'm still logged into My Virgin,without issue.

Have access to webmail once again.
But have just tried sending myself an email from my other Gmail account to my ntlworld.com and once again,it arrives into Gmail but nothing shown in Virgins mail client(webmail)
This is all I get when trying to refresh the page via my phone.
Also the last email received was around 4 and ahlaf hours ago,so it's gone down again.
Multiple people reporting the same issue once again,with things coming to a grinding stop,by the looks of things.
And here's downdetector spiking about 30 minutes ago,with issues being reported.
I am really sick of this constant trouble with VM emails. I am half way through conversing with a tech support company and now I cannot send any replies! What am I paying my rental for? I know that you don't really want to provide an email service and want users to get there own non-VM address. Well, I have tried to avoid that thus far, but it looks like i am going to have to.
it does get irritating after a while. i'm considering just binning off virgin full stop at the momment so this issue is only steering me towards it even more. i have resisted getting yet another email address but i might have to set up an outlook.com one
It is irritating. I managed to read a few, but now it has gone down completely.
We’re aware of an issue effecting the email service and working to fix this as soon as possible.

Hi.
Suddenly got a triangle with an exclaimation mark next to my ntlworld email inbox. I use a Mac and access my email from mail. When I click on the icon it tells me 'the connection to the server map.virginmedia.com on port 993 timed out'
Any ideas how to resolve please?
Yep me too, it is now almost ten to seven in the evening and been trying to get into email for over an hour, just going to give up for the evening now. I thought it was just me as been having issues with my router box as have emergency line on it, decided to get rid of that now, just renewed my contract with VM as i have my parents with me they want to keep old number and landline, but after 20 years with VM, actually nearly 30 years maybe, thinking when this contract ends try someone else, been told Vodaphone is good.
Well i am going to sign off for the evening and give up and hope tomorrow morning will be fixed. FINGERS CROSSED to all those waiting.
So thats two outages within a week,for email users.
Users that in this day and age,RELY on a good quality email service.
That doesnt look like happening at the moment does it with Vigin Media!!
