Email hacked

I can’t access my email keep saying credentials wrong spoke on chat to virgin and they have raised a ticket haven’t heard anything back from them does anyone know if there is a link that I can change my password thanks

  • Yea I’m not holding my breath I’ve had 2 people called me from virgin so far they haven’t sorted it out .they passed it on to iT to look in to im still waiting.  Amazing how a hacker can get in to ya email in seconds but virgin has taking weeks

      Hello Robs1112.

      We've checked the ticket that was raised, and a workaround was added to the note.

      1. Log in to your MyVM Account
      2. Click the Account Settings tile
      3. Next, you need to select the Virgin Media Mail Settings tile
      4. The next page will display a Red Button labelled Generate new App Password¿
      5 . You will then be presented with an automatically generated password. This is the password you need to enter in your mail client.
      The password will look something similar to 4 random words.

        Gareth_L​  Those instructions are out of date.  The correct process since July 2025 is:

        Sign into the My Virgin Media (MVM) Account for that email account https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2 

        Then

        1. Select Account Settings
        2. Select Identity & Security Settings
        3. Select Manage your products
        4. Select Manage email app password
        5. Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

    Good luck with this I've been trying to change my email password for the past 3 months. This new VM02 Id system will not let me do it.  Multiple suggestions to manage my accounts in the VM02 ID system - but it doesn't work.
