Email Hacked

Hello can anyone please try and help me? Ive used the live chat service no help. Ive spoken to someone on the phone no help.

I was a customer of 20 years ending my contract in June. I was told my email account would be shut down within 90 days. Its still active and has now been taken over by hackers. As im no longer a customer I can't log on to my old account on the virgin website and change the email password.  

Please help me get that email address shut down. I've had attempts to take money from my bank accounts and other services hacked.

    We're sorry to hear of the email issues experienced and problems getting this resolved, we appreciate you raising this via the forums and welcome to the community.

     

    Although we do advise that emails are closed 90 days after a service disconnection, this can sometimes take longer. We're eager to assist with this so I will send you a Private Message, please keep an eye out in the top right when signed into the forums for the envelope. This is where you will be able to find my Private Message and be able to respond.

    I had mine hacked and I still have an account. My recovery code was reset by an VM Agent, without my authorisation.

    It has caused me no end of issues and stress.

    VM don't want to know.
