Email Compromised but can't change password
I've been informed by "have I been pawned" that one of my secondary emails has been compromised so I needed to change the passwords as these were part of the compromise too.
Email on VM has become a real pain and the only way I found now to change it was to log go to the secondary account as MyVM and go to the password change option in Account details. Trying simply to change this is impossible as it now asks me to change my sign in to a non-vm address. The last time I did this I lost one of my secondary accounts which was deleted so I really don't want to go through that again.
Why has this been made so obscure and difficult to manage including talking about "App passwords" as though they are different from any other passwords?
Can someone tell me how to change the email password of my current secondary account without it being deleted and replaced by the non-vm account. This secondary account is heavily used and I can't lose it nor do I want someone to hack into it and take it over.
