Blueyonder webmail not working on secondary account

My wife's BY e-mail was set up as a secondary to my primary BY account but recently access via our Android phone webmail has stopped working & despite our efforts at trying to manually set up using imap.virginmedia.com or pop3.virginmedia.com, it cannot locate her e-mail address.  The same login details work via the VM mail site though. All help gratefully received

normotownz. You mention android phone webmail but then refer to the IMAP/POP3 servers that would be used with an email app.  If you want to set up the email address on an email client you will need to generate a app password rather than using the webmail password.

To create an email app password or update an existing one you need to follow these steps:

Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

Make a note of the generated password.  This is what you use in the mail apps along with the vm email address as the username.
