Blueyonder email

I’m unable to send/receive emails on my iPhone from blueyonder address since last week. Virgin support have asked me to set up a new 3rd party email which I’ve done. Will I never receive the emails I’ve missed and will any emails sent to my old blueyonder email address not get forwarded? Do I need to change my email address to the new one with all my contacts?Apologies but I’m not very technical

Pol22 See this help page for an explanation as to why VM have asked you to change the sign in username to a third party email address:  https://www.virginmedia.com/dpb/help/change-my-virgin-media-email-address

This change does not change the underlying blueyonder email address only the way you sign into it.  When using VM webmail you will now need to use the third party email address as the sign in email together with the blueyonder account password.  https://mail.virginmedia.com/

What error message do you get when trying to log in with those details?

Once we have established that you can access the email address via VM webmail we can move onto the issue with the iPad

Hi Graham, this is the message I get

Your Virgin Media Mail is currently unavailable

This is either because your Virgin Media Mail account is locked, or because you don’t have an active account with us anymore. If you have an existing Virgin Media Mail account with us, please follow the steps below, as your account may have been locked as a security precaution.

Thanks for coming back to the thread Pol22, and welcome back to the Forums!

Can you please confirm that the E-Mail address you're attempting to utilise is connected to an active Virgin Media subscription?

        Thanks,
