Blocked email

I'm not sure how best to express my anger & frustration but yesterday I discovered that my IP & corresponding email account has been blocked . As everyone else nowadays this has affected pretty much all aspects of my life . As a 64 year old guy , I am no longer able to get notifications from my doctor , hospital , my bank , utility providers , gas , electricity, water, airlines , local authority the list is endless,  notwithstanding the fact that I'm self employed so clients , enquiries & suppliers , I'm not even considering friends & family ,,,,,,, I'm  completely screwed .
To exacerbate the situation , the majority of accounts require 2-step verification to change email accounts with the confirmation codes being sent to my original account , this is a nightmare . 
VM also make it virtually impossible to speak to anyone specifically about this problem instead directing you ( eventually to) to botts or call centres who only have generic scripts . 
Can anyone help me ?

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your email account at the moment. 

    Have you been able to speak to the team to get this resolved or do you still need further assistance? If you need further assistance, please can you confirm that you're an active Virgin Media broadband customer?

      Hi Steven , yes I'm an active VM broadband user & yes been on with a very pleasant lady in customer service ,,,, unfortunately to no avail . Without wishing to dramatise the situation , this is already having a significant impact n my life . In addition to the above inconveniencies , I have my own company & this is my main contact with my clients & suppliers , I will have invoices that require payment that I have no knowledge of & enquiries from clients the same . I really need some help , Cheers

    It has happened to me, twice this week.  Locked out of webmail and my home "app".  Change the Virgin password, and the app password.  Need a second e-mail to obtain the 2FA numbers. Talk to Customer Service, all helpful but what a time it takes, Utter frustration.  I'm off from Virgin if it happens again but then will have to change all contacts - a total pain after 20+ years with TeleWest and Virgin
