Accessing virginmedia email from my phone
Until Monday last week I was able to access my email a) from my computer via the My virginmedia app and also b) on my phone from the web mail page which I saved to my home screen.
Since then, whilst access via the My Virgin Media app or from the mail2.virginmedia.com page on the computer has been ok, access from my phone has been worryingly intermittent.
It sometimes appears to be loading, but then states that the connection has timed out; sometimes there appears briefly to be a log in page (which doesn't say 'submit' where you would expect it to, and doesn't respond to My Virgin media account log in details when entered. Sometimes its just a white or a blue blank page. (I have taken screen shots).
I rang customer service yesterday who suggested a) delete cache b) use a different browser c) download and use the My Virgin Media app on my phone.
I tried all 3. The first 2 made no difference. The app on the phone, annoyingly, doesn't have the quick link to email access that exists when on a computer; I eventually found that the link to webmail is via the Help menu, but even then its not loading.
Can you offer any explanation or suggest a remedy?
