Access to ntlworld email

My access to Sky Sports on my mobile phone unexpectedly ceased a few days ago and when trying to log back in I was forces to provide an alternative email address and create a VMO2 account. I followed the instructions and after many unsuccessful efforts I finally managed to create the new VMO2 logon and get access to Sky Sports again.

A couple of days later I found that the .ntlworld.com account which my wife regularly uses and is our main account used to log into virgin media has become inaccessible.

I have looked at many of the similar posts on this board as well as the virgin media help pages and am now more confused than ever.  We have been with Virgin media for many years and are still customers but have never had a virgin email address.

Can anyone help me to access the old ntlworld email account please

  • Some additional info which may help:

    I usually use Thunderbird for access to this email account but I get the following message :

    Have tried other passwords including the new VMO2 password to no avail

    I have also tried via virginmedia.com and get this:

    Have clicked through from this link but can't find anything that works

    Any help would be appreciated
