Outstanding ethics at Virgin Media

In these troubled times it is heartening to see that Virgin Media Ltd has publicly committed itself to "being recognised as one of the most ethical companies by 2025."

On its corporate news page it goes on to state "At the core of our Better Connections plan is a commitment to making sure our business operates in a sustainable and ethical way".

Could this be the same Virgin Media Ltd that is choosing to host ten porn channels?

  • Well Virgin Media Ltd publicly committed itself (above) to "being recognised as one of the most ethical companies by 2025."

Well my calendar informs me that we are now in 2025. So is VM now recognised as one of the most ethical companies?

According to an authoritative guide to ethical companies Virgin Media doesn't even make the benchmark for its broadband companies peer group with a pretty uninspiring score of 59/100 (the benchmark is 65). Zen scores 91/100 and the dodgy lot at onestream are on 12/100.

VM continues to choose to host ten porn channels all the while BTW.

Or the same Virginmedia whose failing family protection arrangements cause complaints on here?
