The mods are aware of this and a few other functionality problems, so should eventually get resolved.

@mentions are restricted to VIPs and forum staff only.

Ah I used to be able to do tags on the old one to notify the mods back I had at least replied to their request otherwise you then wait an age to get an reply saying 'is this still a problem' and you are thrown into months worth of yes it is and then 'is it still a problem' lol

Alas you are mistaken. You can create a hyperlink to someone's profile, and it displays the same as an @ tag, but does not have the same effect.

The old forum had a "flag for moderator" link, this was intended more for posts that were breaking forum rules or otherwise inappropriate. As nodrogd has mentioned, @ tagging is for VIP & staff users only.

    You are not alone.

If I have a URL in a MS Word document I can copy / paste it into the thread and usually it is accepted.

But if I copy / paste from the browser into the thread or using the "Insert/Edit link" option,
I frequently run into a very stubborn refusal to accept the HTML .

The blog is still there but it looks like it has been demoted from a headline article

I am guessing that all of the remaining broken features on here will simply remain broken until Khoros decides to fix them on whatever their next scheduled release happens to be.

Some comments on this Reddit page seem to also ring true for the issues being mentioned on here

Edit: Great tip on pasting a link from Word, Client62. That has allowed me to paste a working link for the first time!

        Pleased to be of service.

If I type www . hp . com into this window, without the spaces,
what appears is what I shall insert below as an image ...

Note the little box with arrow at the right hand side,
if I see that box + arrow the URL will usually be rejected with error ...

But copy/paste from MS Word : www.hp.com  this is accepted & it works too.

I see the welcome to the new forum and the list of unresolved issues has been deleted !

Here is another new Forum defect.

Repeated failure of the Sign In dialogue in a Firefox browser,
( possibly any non chromium browser ) I encounter this response repeatedly :

Yeah, I get this as well with Firefox on my 64-bit Windows 10 PC. There seems to be no pattern to the failures. Bizarrely I lost my sign in as I was typing this reply.

The pattern is Sign In fails far more times than it works in Firefox.

Having had the forum session fail ( during typing a response )
on consecutive days this is another recurrent defect.

The forum menu is poor and hard to use in Firefox but displays fine in Edge.
