Yale hub

Hi, I

have a inquiry regarding the Virgin 3 router in relation to the Yale alarm system hub. The problem is that when there is a internet outage the hub remains offline after the internet is reinstated. Been in touch with Yale support and they suggest that the router settings could be the issue. My question is, how do I check the settings recommendations that they have made? Their recommendations are:

If the hub does still not come back online speak to your network provider to make sure ports 80 and 81 are not blocked you can also change you DNS settings with your network provider to 8.8.8.8 and this may help resolve your issue.

well nothing VM can do the all in one hub is meant to solve this and it don't.

you can put your hub in modem mode with a better router with 1Gb ports and see if that helps

VM do not block those ports and you cannot change the Hubs DNS to Googles DNS.  You might be better off setting a static IP address on the Yale Hub in any case.  If you can do this, then you can set your own DNS as well.

Also try switching off Websafe and Childsafe on your account, as this may be blocking the Yale Hub from communicating back to Yale.
