WiFi pods

Hi I ve ordered a WiFi pod since my 1gib router has a very weak signal downstairs , when ordering the guy on the phone tried to explain how to set it up , he gave me the impression that it would come preset to the router meaning I would have to factory reset my router , ie I can’t have my own private password or network name ! Is this correct ?  Many thanks

    The Pods are designed to work with the Hub "out of the box" settings.  This is all part of the VM Intelligent Wifi.

    You can change the SSID, but leave everything else as is.  This should work, but sometimes the Hub will reset the SSID back to factory.  The Pods are pre-registered to your Hub so will not work with any other VM Hub.
