Hello so I had WiFi booster for a year and a half yesterday it started to make fanning noises, today it’s not working anymore and there’s burn marks on my socket. I tried to move it to the different socket and it still makes this noise. The broadband in another room works perfectly.
For safety reasons do not use the WiFi booster.
The Wifi range on the hub is bad you should look to get a 3rd party router with 1Gb ports and put hub in modem mode
Please share some photos of the booster and the burn marks.
Whatever you do don't plug it in anywhere again.
It was also extremely hot to touch!
