WiFi Booster fault

I have my hub upstairs in my office and get WiFi speed of up to 340Mbps. Downstairs in the dining room and Kitchen I get in excess of 100Mbps, my lounge which is by my kitchen is a dead zone. So a booster was fitted in the short gap between the kitchen and living room and all was ok. Recently my Virgin TV started buffering and eventual would only work if the living room door was open, when closed I get 7Mbps!

I checked the booster and it continuously pulses white, having restarted all the equipment, including the hub, by removing the power it still does not work. Everything else is ok. This has been like it for a week  now.

I have tried to get support but cannot get contact via online messenger or WhatsApp to no avail. Online messenger suggested I connect via WhatsApp to avoid the wait, I chose that but nothing came through, the online messenger suggested I send WhatsApp, which I did, but have had no response.

  Is there a number I can get to help with the faulty equipment?

  • Hi Dalered

    Welcome to the Community Forums.

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with the pod connection.

    If possible can you run the checks here for your particular pod to see if this resolves with a flashing white light? Keep us posted with how you get on.

      I have tried those already and the hub is fine. Internet connection is fine just wifi pod not working. This leads to dead spots in my living room and the TV buffering. Re ran the test today and no internet issues

        Please can you try these steps for the pod;

        Unplug any Ethernet cables attached to the router and wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in. Plug the router's power cable back into the outlet. Plug the modem back in and wait until the modem has finished powering on. Wait at least 2 minutes for your Pods' LEDs to stop blinking.

        Let us know if this fixes it.
