Wi Fi pod not connecting to new Hub5

Hello , I had a new Hub 5 delivered a few days ago . My original WiFi pod ( white type ) doesn't appear to stay connected with the new hub and the signal has become weak.

I have re booted the pod a few times and even plugged it in right next to the new hub. My service status page showed that the pod had connected to the new Hub 5 but as soon as I moved it back to it's original room the connection was lost and the status page said that it had reverted back to my  old Hub 3 which has been returned to Virgin Media.

Is this something that Virgin need to activate ?

    Call the VM activation number : 0800 953 9500, 
    to request the VM Pods are paired to the replacement Hub.
