Wi-Fi pod black not connecting

Just received new WiFi pod and it won’t connect. Just cycles through flashing green light then flash white light but never connects. I see on other messages about MAC address of pod needs to be added to account or will not connect. How do I get the MAC address added?

  • I’ve been having the same problem for the past three weeks I’ve spent far to many hours on the phone with vm to no avail I’m now supposed to be getting a new pod sent out and have been waiting over a week but no pod yet. I have the hub 5+ which I’ve been told is a prototype hub and has its own special team who also could not help. Even vm seemed to be having trouble themselves seeing some of the settings on the hub I was told they were going to upgrade the issue to management god knows what that means very little I suspect. My wife keeps telling me I should not of gone with vm and I’m beginning to agree the customer service has been as bad as I’ve ever known. I have area around my property that’s doesn’t get a good WiFi signal and have cctv that’s constantly not connecting due to poor signal. I wonder how many more conversations will be had on the community forum before someone at vm actually takes this issue seriously.

      Sorry to hear you're having some issues with the pods. Due to the area you're in this isn't something we can help with, however if you call us on 150/ 0345 454 1111 you'll automatically be connected to the specialist team.

      Welcome back to the Community Forums. Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your WiFi Pod.

      I've sent you a PM so I can take your details and ensure that your Pod is linked to your Hub, as a broken link is usually the cause for these particular issues.

        Hi can you help me . I have got 2 new black pods which replaced 2 white ones . Hub 5 and worked for a week . Now all 3 pods including 1 white one won’t connect. Constant white flashing light. Reset up , deleted pods from the app but still no joy. Please help

    Folks would do so much better with a retail Wi-Fi Mesh that they own and can control.

    VM Pods have far too many limitations and now there are problems getting them to work.
