Wi-Fi Connect App

Why is the virgin media connect app forcing me to merge channels. I don’t want to merge it thanks. I pay the bill so i control what i do with my Wi-Fi NOT VIRGIN! I think it could be time to say goodbye soon. If it’s not broke DON’T fix it! The End

    Just uninstall the Connect app and re-configure Split SSIDs.

    We're sorry to hear you're having some issues with the Connect App. It helps to optimise the WiFi and have both the 2.4 and 5 Ghz channels together creates a more seamless connection. 

    If you've decided to separate the channels, it could lead to further issues down the line. With saying that, if you have made some changes, the Connect App will try and optimise things and suggest to have both channels broadcasting in the usual way.
