VM will need to re-pair the VM Pods to the replacement VM Hub once it is installed.

Also note if you get a Hub 5 as a replacement, you should be aware the old white Pods are not Wifi 6 capable. You should request the newer black Pods as these are also Wifi 6. Just something to be aware of.

Hi Johnasimmons 👋 thanks for posting!
Sorry to hear the concerns about your Wi-Fi Pods when upgrading to 1gig Broadband. The PODs come pre-paired to your hub when they are sent out, so we would need to re-provision these when they arrive. We can do this remotely though! I will send you over a PM to confirm a few details and help with this when needed.
I will also mention, that we should not need to send you new Pods if you are upgrading your hub. If we did need to upgrade the Pods for any reason, we would let you know about this directly, and we'd also need to do it one at a time (as we can only send Pods out individually, rather than as a set.) Both types of Pods use the same mesh technology to boost your home WiFi coverage. The key difference – apart from the colour – is that a White Pod plugs straight into a socket, while a black Pod has a power cable that connects the Pod to your power socket along with an extra LAN socket.
You can find my PM offering support in your Inbox ✉ in the top right corner of the page. We can return to this public thread with another update when possible. Thanks for your patience in the meantime! 🌞
