wi fi Pod

Hi, I recently took over the virgin account of someone who has been with them for 25 years. They had a wi fi pod and I was assured before they cancelled their account and I opened mine that I would be issued with a pod. I have been asking for weeks now but everyone insists I have to pay extra since I am a pay as you go O2 customer (as was the previous customer). I know there is a record of the telephone conversation where the virgin rep told me everything would be the same even though I was getting the basic deal. An old wi fi pod is here in the house but it does not seem to connect to my modem. Is there anything I can do to make it work? Wifi is sporadic downstairs and every time I speak to a rep I spend an hour in vain....

Thanks

  • The VM Pods from a previous a/c is useless to you & it is VM property that they may want returned.

I'd avoid the as you have seen locked down VM Pods and buy a Wi-Fi Mesh that works with any ISP.
