Total number DHCP reservations on Hub5

I have just transferred from Sky to VM and setting up my hub 5. I set DHCP reservations for all my devices. I have multiple devices and do this to be able to understand where traffic is coming from. I have just started to configure this on my hub 5 and got the following error : The maximum number of allowed reservations is 32. Surely in today's world this hub isn't restricted to 32 DHCP reservations?

Unfortunately in to days world no one cares as long as the device connects to the internet so if you want more you need a better router.

The problem is many routers don't say how many DHCP reservations you can have the most is likely 64.

      USG FLEX 200H lists

Max. DHCP Host Pool (Static DHCP) 256

Just set a fixed IP in the device, you can do this for most of them and then you should get below the 32 to do reservations.

That’s a pain hence why DHCP was born. Plus on some of my stuff (work) I don’t want to set static IPs

We prefer not to be reliant on the functions of the VM Hub, consider that if a replacement Hub is supplied for whatever reasons, all the Hub config that has laboriously been entered is lost.

Plus VM Hub's do not offer any traffic monitoring / analysis tools.

So if you don’t want to be reliant on it why have the functionality at all?
