Total loss of service

I have total loss of my broadband service. For the last 2 days. The online help pages are useless. I thought it might be due to the damaged cable I just posted about but now wondering if Manchester is being classed as central Lancashire, and so we're effected by the area fault the robot told me about on the phone?

At the time of your post we were aware of an outage affecting Manchester and other surround areas, it has since been fixed and service is now restored. Can you confirm that your service has returned or are you in need of further assistance?
