Still problems accessing Google DNS

The issue is not resolved. It remains that around Bristol, Gloucester area at least, you cannot access Google services (Google search, Translate, Recaptcha, Google analytics), Youtube, Spotify or Toggl on Virgin media, while this works on mobile data other than Virgin Media. This issue has been ongoing for at least 6 hours and has not yet been resolved.

  • I'm also experiencing the same issue since this morning (24.06.2024), in BS7. Google services were only available for about 1 hour in total since 9 am.

  • Issue has resurfaced for Google for sure, I only get the issue when in Modem mode. 

    Went pillar to post for over an hour today on the phone, managed to finally reach someone useful, she advised issue is 'known' but there are no details on timelines for resolution and to check back in tomorrow. 

    Would be good to know what exactly about Modem mode is handled differently at Virgin's end

      Sorry the Google services outage affected you. This was resolved yesterday at around 3pm so it should be back up and running now.

      If you're still having problems then please reboot your devices and Hub.

      Could you confirm if everything is okay now?
