  • I don't think it's anything to worry about, besides that all happened within a minute looking at the log time stamps.  Also a quick search on 'tinternet shows this is not uncommon across all DOCIS modem's over the world.

As an aside, if you can edit your original post, as your CM MAC address is visible.  It would really be best to redact this information.  I'm surprised the Board software didn't do this automatically.

  • I wouldn't take "i don't think it's anything to worry about" as a solution. I wouldn't take that it's "not uncommon" "all over the world" as anything other than lack of interest. There are many security vulnerabilities in all virgins hubs so maybe someone on this forum could point us to someone who actually knows the answer to the questions and the meaning of these logs.

I’ve yet to see any explanation of those messages over the past couple of years.  It’s been asked before a few times, and I was only pointing out it’s not specific to VM, but more to DOCIS modems. If I was to guess I’d say it was an upstream power issue as it’s normally around a channel change?  But having said that, the modem is supposed to change channels to cope with variable power and noise, no?
