Plex

Hello

I joined Virgin on 11th and router installed, I was still on Voda at that time as I was waiting for a pod as wifi was poor. I got the pod Monday and started setting up.

Main issue is on my plex server it says it can be seen outside my network but when I test by using my O2 connection the server is unreachable.

Google said something about shared ip and I did ask for static ip but got different answers and I did have to leave voda before it went up to 80p/m

So far I tried using Nord Mesh net but that doesnt work, used pc ip and port. But if it did work not sure if that'll work as I use my LG tv at home, which doesnt have nord.

I dont know what to do, I need plex  and will leave if I have too over this.

Thank you

For new customers Parental Controls in the VM Online Account are often enabled by default which can interfere with TV streaming services, VPNs + Video & Audio calls etc.

In the VM Online Account we have Disabled Parental Controls, and have Virus Safe Enabled, this is working fine for Sky Q, Netflix, Social Media, Video Calls, Wi-Fi Calling etc.

VM's Parental Controls are implemented on the DNS given out by the VM Hub,
it is possible to bypass this by use of a Public DNS such as Cloudflare or OpenDNS etc.
