Need WiFi boosters but can't use the connect app to prove this

I understand that in order to get the WiFi boosters I need to use the Connect app to do a scan and demonstrate that there is an issue.. however, the signal in two rooms is so bad, that the Connect app won't even recognise the hub, so I can't do this. 

Is there another way to request the boosters? 

  • That is the same issue have. How can we run the app when the WiFi signal drops out. I have sent a screen shot of the result I get but just get told to run the app again and forward the result, which of course you can’t do because there is no WiFi signal. VM just seem to be very reluctant to give pods even though my contract says I can have up to 3 free of charge.
