My virgin media app says it cannot find my hub.

Exactly the same set of issues here: Connect app consistently unable to find the Hub 4 (although it seems to do so momentarily from time to time). The Hub itself is working properly. Neither re-installing nor just turning everything off/on makes any difference. It's not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things but it is irritating and there seems to be no effective solution. Which seems extremely odd. Surely this issue has been reported enough times now for VM to develop a patch for the app.

    Yes, it's a known issue. The Connect app causes problems with the Hub 4. Fortunately you can do everything you need by logging directly to the Hub at 192.168.0.1.   Remove the app from all devices, and do a factory reset of the Hub. 

  • Well, I logged on directly to the hub yesterday evening and ran a diagnostic the results of which indicated some broadband problems. This morning I idly retried the Connect app. It is now connecting to the Hub and working properly. Goodness knows whether this is causation or coincidence or if this will continue but, currently, I have a stable, working Connect app.
