My hub 3 and wi fi

Good Morning.

My hub 3 loses wi fi connection multiple times a day and keeps needing re booting. It is 7 years old now so how can I get a new one?

Regard Helen

The Hub 3 is still standard issue for VM.  I would suggest the problem is related to a poor circuit or cables, rather than an "old" Hub.

Try checking with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 or if you have a VM landline 150 as small local faults are not listed on the VM status page.

Post the power levels, Pre and PostRS errors and network log from the Hub.

Setup a BQM to monitor your circuit www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

    Once done we can comment.

      Hi

This issue has now been resolved. A technician visited and changed my hub3 to a hub4. All good now.

      Regards Helen

  • Thanks for reaching out to us howardhj100, and I'm sorry to hear of the issues experienced on the Wi-Fi connection for the services.

Looking into the local area, and the stats on the router you're using, it appears that no issues are present.

Can you please confirm if there are any devices located close to the router than are working on Wi-Fi and could be placed on an Ethernet connection?

    Thanks,
