Moving Smart TV

I have M125 broadband with my smart tv plugged into the router via the ethernet port. I would like to move the TV into another toom and leave the router where it is. If I use TP- Link Powerline units would this work through my home plug sockets.

Thank You

Ken

    I was drawn by  "TP- Link Powerline units" VS. "home plug sockets"

    Does this mean use of two different brands or generations or families of power line devices ?

    E.g  VM Hub <---> Netgear AV200 home plug        then      TP-Link AV1200 <---> TV

    Perhaps I am reading between the lines !

      I read it as 'Home plug sockets' = mains electric sockets.  I have known people to refer to these as plug sockets.

    If the mains circuit is on the same ring then yes it should.  If not, it may still work but at a reduced speed.
